Rosmah: Many Islamic nations look up to Malaysia

 

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has won the admiration of many Islamic countries due to its ability to achieve peace and stability in a multi-religious environment, said the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

 

She added that the respect given to Malaysia was evident from the treatment given to her during her recent visit to Oman, in which she was given a “state visit” status by its government.

“When I met the Omani Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahd Mahmoud Al-Said, he told me that many of the Middle Eastern countries held Malaysia in high regard.

“Malaysia is a multi-racial country but it also an Islamic country. However, we practise moderation at the same time,” she said during the launch of a National Service Training Programme called “The Catalyst To A 1Malaysia Generation” here yesterday.

Rosmah told the trainees to consider themselves fortunate for being chosen to participate as there were many others who had wanted to join but were not picked.

Datin Seri, can you please kindly enlighten me, which part of Malaysia that you considered as Islamic..? The economic system? The judiciary? The political system..? Pfffttt!!

Or perhaps the way your beloved husband, Dato' Seri 1Malaysia governs the country? Oh no wonder Malaysia is so heavenly safe from all sort of natural disasters, crises and God knows whatever else He has cursed on other countries but Malaysia because God so bless this country!

And by the way, which 'Islamic nations' are you referring to again..? You mean, nations whose people are Muslims-majority right..?  Please get the fact straight Datin Seri! (Or should I call you Datuk Amar Rosmah Mansor..?) Because as far as I am concerned, there is no single, i repeat, NO SINGLE TRUE Islamic country exists in this whole universe and that's a fact.
